WAFA Learning Method; An Effort in Improving Students' Memory of The Qur'an

Interest in memorizing the Qur'an among students is still low to point of considering it difficult; teachers need use suitable methods arouse interest and ease for students. The purpose this study was determine learning using Wafa method at MI Darus Salam. This research uses a qualitative approach with type case research. Salam location data collected obtained from observation, interviews, documentation. analysis technique applies Miles Huberman's interactive model. results stated that used carried out by included three main steps, namely steps planning, implementing, evaluating learning. Three activities are implementing learning: Opening, core, closing. Then evaluation step, coaching teacher conceptualizes an assessment achievement improving students' memorization ability form formative summative evaluation. Therefore, Qur'an, go well correctly according rules makhraj tajwidnya. also involves role who become good facilitators, mediators, collaborators student process. has impact on as capital self-courage, competitive thinking achieve everything their lives.
